LEADERSHIP from LOVE.

“Fighting for Peace is like Fucking for Virginity”

I was 15 and having lived through the dangers of real war and fighting overseas, and of having had my virginity assaulted more than once by then, the full impact of that statement on me cannot be overstated. I was meant to see those words. It is my destiny to know the resonance of those words.

I am waking up and stepping forward from White Privilege. I am a Spiritual Psychologist and Minister of Love. It is time.

When I was a young kid, I marched on Washington and lived through the 1968 riots in Washington DC after the death of MLK. I was an idealist kid with idealist parents. Equality for Black Americans, Equality for women, was our manifesto.

And then, back in the US in 1975 after having mostly grown up in a war-torn Middle East, I saw the graffiti above on a bathroom wall it profoundly etched its truth in my heart.

The Truth of this cannot be overstated. Committing myself to that, I made a pact with my pro-Israeli best friend that we would create peace in the middle east by 1981. Although we failed in that time frame and I have lost touch with her, I have not stopped working towards healing and peace from love in every part of my life.

I have vacillated on this path, finally following the leaders who suggested Love as the direction we go. My heroes are MLK and Gandhi. There are many others but these two men have caught my attention and lead me. They did what they could. And they learned and learned and learned along the way. Galvanizing others and sharing Love, Honor, and Respect with All.

They acted and stepped forward from their own oppression and spoke out from Love.

And while we have made some limited headway, we are still fighting for equality and peace on every front. I feel that we are on the wrong road. I have chosen to fight for equality and justice for so long to no avail, I am heading out on a different path.

This may push you to the edge, but if you truly are here for something new, read and consider this as a possibility. It is a bit of out of the box thinking, but that is what our time calls for.

I am STEPPING OUT from PRIVILEGE. From a place where it could be seen that I “have everything to lose.” I do not.

I have everything to gain. 

Letting go of the idea that I am separate or in any way, better than another in any way, frees me up to live in the truth of loving all humanity. Any thoughts of separation “that I am better” isolate ME, keep me from my wholeness, stop me from reaching the full experience of my life, and my strength. Because my fullness comes from us being connected.

FIGHTING HAS NEVER WORKED. It is a manifestation of Fear and our most basic instincts for survival. I have tried it. I have failed.

I am NOT CONDEMNING FIGHTING or FIGHTERS and if that is your way, it must be, and, because I have never seen it work I do not choose it for myself.

Fighting scares people, it sends everyone away. Even those who want to help. It hurts. It leaves scars. We Whites can see that on Black Faces every day, and others can see it on ours.

We cannot heal until we stop fighting.

NOW I am choosing a path of investing in, standing only in the power in LOVE.

Within the power of a full commitment to loving each other, EQUALITY simply is.

On the path of loving, RESPECT, HONOR and VALUE simply exist.

My path is now BEING what/who I am at the highest level.

“My LIFE is my message.“ I am with Gandhi on this. There is no higher calling to humanity than to enter into this time committed to the POWER of LOVE.

MY ALLYSHIP IS IN LOVE WITH BLACK AMERICA.

BLACK LIVES MATTER.

I am Pro-Love. I am For Black America. I am For taking responsibility for my Privilege. I am for apologies for what has hurt others. I am For Reparations and Making Amends. I am for using my resources to make an impact on Black Lives. I am For our Oneness in Love. I am for the Healing of our wounds, and, For the Forgiveness that will come to restore Love.

I am not Anti anything. I can’t, I just can ‘t be anymore. I know it in my bones. It doesn’t work to fight.

I am Love. That is what my path is and will be.

I am delving into my PRIVILEDGE and into the experience and voices of BLACK LIVES especially, examining my thinking, while learning and loving everyone.

EVERYONE. YES, everyone.

EVERYONE.

We don’t need change; we need transformation.

We don’t need equality, we need Oneness.

I am Love and I am Oneness with All. That is All I know.
